Guess I can only post when it rains. Or when my niece reminds me that I haven't updated for a long time.
We still have the house in TX and still go down there every weekend to do all those maintenance type tyings (like yardwork, vacuum, dust etc) that have to be done even to a house that sits empty all week. Then, of course, we are still trying to finish up the one major remodeling project we started so long ago, but never had the time to finish, and all thouse thousand little things that you have to do to get a house ready for sale. It all takes time and money and energy, and we're running out of all three.
And of course it's football season, so if the Cowboys are playing, we're busy! Well, at least that is how I'd prefer it. The trut is we rarely get to watch an entire game. But a girl can dream!
Hey, the good news is that we've had just over 3" of rain this weekend. You have to understand that we've had only fractions of an inch of rain since May this year, and that things have been so dry that it's affecting the local economy. Ranchers have been selling off their livestock because there is no grass or hay, and no water for them. And the dust! Oh my goodness.
We've been working up here in SE OK for 2 years now. Time flies - whether you are having fun or not! So make good use of it while you have it!
